High Pressure Laminate is ideal for more heavily used and reasonably dry washrooms areas, these durable panels provide heat, scratch, impact and cigarette burn resistance. Made from 17mm V3 moisture resistant 680kg/m3grade chipboard, the panels are faced both sides with high pressure laminate creating an overall thickness of 19mm. Edges can either be postformed or lipped with 2mm high impact PVC and in some cases a combination of both – i.e lipped partition and door panels with postformed vertical edges to pilasters.

High Pressure Laminate (HPL) is an excellent vanity surfacing material offering years of use at a readily affordable price. Attractive and hardwearing, HPL is suitable for most washroom and changing room environments in schools, hospitals, industrial, offices, pubs and clubs.

High Pressure Laminate (HPL) vanity tops are manufactured from 18mm moisture resistant (MR) MDF which is faced with high pressure laminate and white balancer to rear. Exposed ends are lipped in matching laminate.


High Pressure Laminate (HPL) can be postformed to produce a downstand with a rolled edged. It can also be postformed at the rear to produce an integral upstand facilitating easy cleaning and removing the need germ collecting mastic joints.


Positioned below the vanity top at each basin position and mounted onto the front of the carcass with concealed fixings (hinged if required) to facilitate access to services. Made in complementary materials such as High Pressure (HPL) or Melamine Faced Board (MFC). Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) panels with radiused and polished edges are also available.


18mm moisture resistant (MR) MDF which is faced with High Pressure Laminate (HPL) and white balancer to rear or 18mm V313 moisture resistant grade 680kg/m3 Melamine Faced Board (MFC).


Vanity tops can be supported on a 50mm x 50mm WROT timber sub-frame. Alternatively the vanity top can be supported on discrete cantilever brackets to give a greater sense of space particularly useful in smaller washrooms.
