Compact Grade Laminate, also known by the trade name ‘TRESPA’, offers ultimate performance in the most demanding environments. The panels are extremely resistant to impact and have surfaces and cores that are totally impervious to water.

  • Vandal and water resistance makes these units the most durable.

  • Vanity tops are constructed from 10mm or 13mm Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) and typically incorporate a front downstand and rear upstand with a postformed front edge with a 20mm radius.

  • Access panels with radiused edges are provided below each bowl position.

Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) is extremely durable and water resistant making it perfect for use in areas subject to high traffic and vulnerable to vandalism.

Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) also called Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) vanity tops are manufactured from 13mm solid grade laminate which is totally impervious to water and highly resistant to vandalism. Matching infill pieces are provided for exposed ends.


Compact Grade Laminates (CGL) can be post formed to produce a down-stand with a rolled edged. It can also be post formed at the rear to produce an integral up-stand facilitating easy cleaning and removing the need for germ collecting mastic joints. Exposed edges are radiused and polished.


Positioned below the vanity top at each basin position and mounted onto the front of the carcass with concealed fixings (hinged if required) to facilitate access to services. Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) access panels are provided with radiused and polished edges.


13mm Compact Grade Laminate (CGL) attached to timber subframe; 18mm moisture resistant (MR) MDF which is faced with high pressure laminate and white balancer to rear; 18mm V313 moisture resistant grade 680kg/m3 Melamine Faced Board (MFC).


Vanity tops can be supported on a 50mm x 50mm WROT timber sub-frame. Alternatively the vanity top/shelf can be supported on discrete brackets to give a greater sense of space.
